My portfolio acts as a functional work space to share related academic and professional projects with potential employers. With this website, I intend to:

Professional Development Resources

  1. LinkedIn Learning is my library of learning resources and professional development materials.
  2. Canva is my favorite place to work. Canva offers a wide variety of templates, tools, and formats to use for creating and designing professional-quality deliverables.
  3. The Web Project Guide: From Spark to Launch and Beyond is my favorite project management tool. It is useful, helpful, and framed in a creative format.
  4. Unsplash is my goto for media imagery and digital files. I have used many of the images for technical documentation and communication.
  5. College of St. Scholastica is where the discoveries begin. The College of St. Scholastica offers Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) at no cost. Global Project Management: Best Practices for Success begins March 23, 2020 and must be completed by June 14, 2020. I have taken several courses pertaining to project management, ehealth, and patient communications.
  6. Duke Forge is my weekly fill of health data science news.
  7. Vitalsource has been my go to resource to ebooks! Whether I need a textbook for class, my blog references, or personal enjoyment, I can count on finding a myriad of respected, valuable books. As an adjunct instructor, I used this resource for my personal library and synchronous student activities.
  8. Talent Development As an aspiring TDM, I turn to this resource for all things related to talent development. The mission of TD is to Empower Professionals to Develop Talent in the Workplace. The site offers a definitive, intuitive and mobile resource for the talent development profession called TDBok. TDBok offers a deep dive into the concepts within the Talent Development Capability Model. This framework tells talent development practitioners what they need to know and do to develop themselves, others, and their organizations. 
  9. Burning Glass Technologies offers a wealth of career information to keep pace with the changing job market.
  10. Usability.gov This site provides guidelines about the what, why, and how of usability.
